Some background info:
I’m a stay-at-home mom which means I work harder now than I did when I was employed. Before “retiring” I was a project manager at UPS and I loved my job, but I wanted to be home with the kiddies more. Unfortunately, no one is cutting me any checks in my current position; but that’s OK because I LOVE being home with my kids and nosing around in their lives. They’re still pretty young right now so I want to milk this gig as long as I can. In the meantime I thought it’d be awfully nice to contribute a couple bucks.

I actually started making these types of crosswords about twenty years ago for fun for my friends and family. Of course back then, there was no computer assistance and it would take forever. But sitting in classes during my undergraduate lectures I needed something to do! Funny how an idea sticks with you even if it takes you a while to act on it. So now I’m putting my money where my mouth is and making a go of things.
